OVERALL AREA PLAN
The approved Area Plan includes “Combined Purposes” in the innermost part of Ørsnesvika, meaning sale of single/private cabins in combination with a hotel or tourist resort (the SeaShore and Landscape hotel ).
On the small peninsula “Krambuodden”a small SeShore hotel is planned, including a restaurant and bar, as well as facilities and equipment necessary to serve the guests with all the outdoor activities Lofoten has to offer; such as kayaking, diving, cycling, boating, fishing, mountain skiing/randone.
Southwest over the small bridge to Risholmen and further over another small bridge onto the mainland, the Area Plan calls for “tourist industry” purposes, i.e. the seaside cabins out here there will be part of the SeaShore hotel operation.
The plans further calls for seaside cabins of varying “footprints”/sizes, in order to meet different needs as well as to create some visual variety, ranging from the smaller 5mx5m units up to the larger units of 7.5mx10m.

The project is planned executed in four phases, as illustrated here. In Phase 1 and 2, the “inner area” is developed with the seaside cabins and the Landscape Hotel eastwards along the existing rock wall, as well as the SeaShore hotel with its restaurant/bar and service facilities out on the Krambuodden peninsula. The small foot-bridge over to Risholmen is also thought to be built in Phase 2.
In Phase 3, the SeaShore hotel will be expanded with new seaside cabins on Risholmen, and a walkway from Risholmen onto land. Phase 4 completes the project with newsmen more seaside cabins at Risholmen, and with new cabins on land in from Risholmen.
This illustration shows the planned distribution between sale of individual cabins and cabins that is either part of the Hotel concept or lease concept. . The distribution in the “inner area”, i.e. Phase 1 and 2 can be changed to fit market and demand. The seaside cabins/apartments (Phase 3 and 4) in the “outer area”, i.e.across the walkway from Krambuodden to Risholmen and further onto the mainland will be part of the SeaShore hotel, as defined in the overall approved Area Plan.
